To mark the significance of all round personality development of a child MAR BASELIOS VIDHYA BHAVAN acknowledged its Pre- Wing students in the form of Graduation Day with a gracious passing out ceremony of all tiny tots, who have spent their initial year of life in school. This day they step forward from Pre-Primary –Class 1st. It is the first step forwards formal education. Little toddlers were very excited on passing out from Class Prep to Grade I and receive their degrees in their black gowns and smart caps.
The programme started by traditional lightning of lamp by the Chief Guest His Grace Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius president of MGM Group of schools. followed by inaugural speech by Pre-Primary teacher Mrs Geetha Parpani
Pre-Nursery exhibited their talents by the Rhymes, Nursery group presented the Zoobi Zoobi dance and other group presented mesmerizing group dance. It was followed by number of activities. Chief Guest His Grace congratulated the students and their Parents on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of the school in the right direction and said that parent’s teachers are like a caring potter who shapes and moulds the child with tender love, care into a confident individual. He laid emphasis on the need to develop moral, spiritual and patriotic qualities in young children.
The Principal of the school B.V.K.Reddy extended his warm welcome to all the parents and stressed on the need for responsible parenting in the overall development of child’s personality. He highlighted the importance of Graduation ceremony and said that it is organized to to mark the culmination of three years of hard work, actualization of goals and celebrating the wonderful development of the children.
Present on the occasion were, Very Rev George Ranban, Rev Fr. Kurian John vice president of the school. Rev Fr Jose K Varghese and a large number of parents, well-wishers and teachers.
Programme was coordinated by Mrs., K.laxmi,Mrs Sali Kutty, Mrs.Sakshi Wandhare and all primary teachers. Vote of thanks was proposed by preprimary coordinator Mrs. Delphy George.
